HOW TO GET VACCINATED
FOR COVID-19 IN MA

MASS VACCINATION IN MAssachusetts

Transformative Healthcare, working with CIC Health, the Kraft Organization, Mass General Brigham and the Commonwealth launched the first mass vaccination site in Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium on January 14th, 2021. The site launched with the capacity to perform more than 1,000 vaccinations daily and is expected to quickly expand to 5,000 or more vaccinations each day. Transformative provides all clinical and non clinical staff involved in vaccine administration.

Cost: Vaccination is at no cost to you. You will be asked to provide your health insurance information at time of registration. If you are not insured you are still eligible to get vaccinated at no cost.

Eligibility:  Based on the state's phased vaccine roll out. Please check the state vaccination website for latest eligibility.  ​During Phase 1 the following groups of people are eligible:
  1. Clinical and non-clinical healthcare workers doing direct and COVID-facing care
  2. Long-term care facilities, rest homes, and assisted living facilities
  3. First responders (EMS, Fire, Police)
  4. Congregate care settings (including corrections and shelters)
  5. Home health care workers
  6. Health care workers doing non-COVID-facing care
valid forms of proof of eligibility
THE TYPE OF IDENTIFICATION AND/OR DOCUMENTATION QUALIFYING AS PROOF MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR OCCUPATION.

In general for those in Phase 1, please bring to your appointment one of the following forms of ID, or one of the combinations of documentation and ID:
  • An employer-issued photo ID card that includes your name and title
  • An employer-issued non-photo ID card that includes your name and title PLUS a valid state photo ID or license
  • A letter from your employer stating you are a current employee PLUS a valid state photo ID or license (Police and Firefighters, the letter must be from your Chief) 
  • A recent pay stub PLUS a valid state photo ID or license
  • A letter from your soon-to-be employer stating you are a new hire and specifying your start date within six weeks of your vaccination appointment date PLUS a valid state photo ID or license (Police and Firefighters, the letter must be from your Chief)

Alternatively, if you work in one of the following occupations, you can bring to your appointment the listed form of ID or documentation: 
  • Licensed healthcare professionals, your current Massachusetts professional license   
  • EMTs (all levels), your current Massachusetts EMT/Advanced Certification, EMT/Paramedic Certification, or a screenshot or printout of certification from the check-a-license website  
  • Police and Firefighters, your badge
